Plumbing Services in Ranchi - Pipe Fitting, Fixtures & Leak Repair

From a dripping tap to a full CPVC repiping job before your kitchen renovation, we handle pipe fitting, fixture installation and leak repair with the right pipe material for each job, not whatever is cheapest at the shop.

Pipe Materials We Work With

CPVC - Our Default for Hot & Cold Water Lines

Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride pipe handles hot water up to around 93 degrees Celsius, resists scale buildup and corrosion completely, and is solvent-welded so joints do not loosen the way threaded fittings can over time. It is our standard choice for indoor water supply lines in both new fit-outs and repiping jobs.

PPR - Heat-Fused Joints for Long-Term Reliability

Polypropylene Random Copolymer pipe uses heat-fusion welding, which creates a joint that is effectively a single continuous piece of pipe with no threads or solvent glue to fail. We recommend PPR for concealed wall chases where a leak years later would mean breaking tiles to fix.

UPVC - Cold Water Supply & Drainage

Unplasticized PVC is rigid, resists UV degradation reasonably well, and is our standard for cold water supply risers, overhead tank connections and soil/waste drainage lines where hot water is never a factor.

GI (Galvanised Iron) - Why We Replace It, Not Extend It

Many older Ranchi homes still have galvanised iron supply lines from decades ago. GI pipe corrodes internally over time, restricting flow and eventually leaking at threaded joints. When we find GI pipe during a renovation, we recommend replacing the run with CPVC or PPR rather than patching it.

Services We Provide

New Pipe Fitting & Repiping

Fresh supply and drainage lines for new construction, or full repiping of an older home replacing GI with CPVC/PPR.

Fixture Installation

Wash basins, WCs, geysers, kitchen sinks, showers and mixer taps supplied and installed with correct isolation valves.

Leak Detection & Repair

Concealed leaks traced without unnecessary tile breakage, then repaired and pressure-tested before we close the wall.

Overhead Tank & Pump Connections

Tank inlet/outlet piping, float valve setup and pressure pump connections sized to your building's height and demand.

Drainage & Blockage Clearing

Kitchen and bathroom drain blockages cleared, with slope and trap corrections where recurring blockage points to a design fault.

Bathroom & Kitchen Re-Plumbing

Coordinated with waterproofing and tiling during a bathroom or kitchen renovation so pipe routing is finalised before walls close.

Applications - When You Need a Plumber

New homes and resale flats

A pre-purchase pressure test on a resale flat's plumbing can catch hidden leaks before you sign.

Kitchen or bathroom renovation

Repiping is far cheaper while walls are already open than as a standalone job later.

Recurring damp patches or low pressure

Both are classic signs of a concealed leak or scaled-up GI pipe that needs tracing and replacement.

Our Process

1

Inspection & Pressure Check

We assess existing lines, water pressure and any visible or suspected leaks.

2

Material & Route Planning

Pipe material and routing chosen based on hot/cold use and whether the run will be concealed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both handle hot and cold water well. CPVC is solvent-welded and slightly easier to repair later; PPR uses heat-fusion joints that are more robust for concealed runs behind tiles where you never want to reopen the wall. We will recommend one based on your specific routing.

Galvanised iron was the standard decades ago but corrodes internally, reducing water flow and eventually leaking at joints. If your home still has GI supply lines, we recommend replacing them with CPVC or PPR during your next renovation rather than patching individual leaks.

Yes, every new supply line is pressure-tested before tiling or plastering covers it, so any weak joint is caught while it is still easy to access.

We use pressure and moisture testing to narrow down the leak location before opening any wall, which usually means breaking one targeted section of tile instead of an entire wall.
