Invisible Grill Maintenance & Re-Tensioning in Ranchi

Even a well-installed invisible grill needs periodic care - wires loosen over time, anchors can work loose, and rust can start at a fitting long before it is visible on the wire itself. We offer stand-alone maintenance visits for invisible grills across Ranchi, whether or not we did the original installation.

Re-Tensioning

Restoring proper tautness to wires that have loosened over time.

Rust & Corrosion Checks

Inspecting wire, anchors and turnbuckles for early corrosion before it spreads.

Wire Cleaning

Removing dust, salt film and grime buildup that dulls the finish over time.

Anchor & Wall Check

Verifying anchor points are still firmly seated in the wall or railing.

Why Invisible Grills Need Periodic Maintenance

A wire rope invisible grill is a tensioned system, and tension changes over months and years due to temperature swings, repeated leaning pressure, and normal metal fatigue at the crimped ends. A wire that was taut at installation can develop noticeable slack after a year or two, which reduces its effectiveness as a fall barrier even though the wire itself looks intact. This is very different from a rigid MS grill, which does not need re-tensioning but does need periodic rust treatment.

We recommend a maintenance check once every 12-18 months for indoor balconies and windows, and every 8-12 months for terraces and other fully weather-exposed installations, since sun and rain accelerate both tension loss and corrosion risk. If you notice a wire that feels loose to the touch, a rattling sound in wind, or visible rust at an anchor point, that is a sign a maintenance visit is overdue, not something to leave until the next scheduled check.

What a Maintenance Visit Includes

  • Full tension check - every wire is tested and re-tensioned with the turnbuckle where needed.
  • Corrosion inspection - wire, crimped ends, turnbuckles and anchor bolts checked for early rust.
  • Anchor security check - confirming wall or railing anchors have not worked loose.
  • Cleaning - removing dust, salt film and grime that builds up on outdoor installations.
  • Replacement parts - any wire, fitting or anchor showing damage is replaced on the spot where possible.

We Service Installations by Any Installer

You do not need to have had your invisible grill installed by Kushal Kraft to book a maintenance visit - we regularly inspect and service grills originally fitted by other installers, including older installations where the original company may no longer be reachable.
